The only lead is the phrase "produced by Tchad Blake." Could this have been a Pacific Northwest band?

Hey Jon, There's a killer indie radio station playing out of Jersey city, N.J. USA on 90.1FM that is also findable on the www. I mention them because they may be a source ofinfo for you. They archive shows and play a more well-rounded format of volunter d.j. shows than any other station i know of. You may be able to pick up some info from them to help with your hobby / blog. Dan

Tchad Blake (later working extensively with Mitchell Froom) got his start at Wally Heider's studio in San Francisco, which from a closer look at the cover is where his was recorded. So my guess is that The Donuts was a SF or at least Bay Area band.
