Would I be stoned for blasphemy if I said that I find that version of "Bus Stop" to be about 400% more likeable than the original? Especially the drone-y verses.

Thanks for the Primitons any Primitons! (Do you recall a track with the chorus "Leave the past behind...are you on or off the bus..?!")
I know I'm way late to this party, but I'll be checking in daily from now on! Thanks, a lot.

Vallis,
On or off the Bus is from the Primitons full-length, which is also well worth finding. There was also a 3 song EP featuring Don't Go Away.

The Primitons started out as Jim Bob and the Leisure Suits, a bar band that played around the south during the new wave era (I saw them in Mobile and Pensacola), and they have an LP that is worth looking for. High note: "Halfway to Jesus".

Every song on the first Primitons ep is a gem. Mitch Easter did a great job. The band wanted to work with him again, but they never did have the budget, unfortunately.

I had the pleasure of seeing them live several times in Nashville and Birmingham, and they were great every time.

Please post more of their music, which deserves a far wider audience than it had the first time around.
