Song Of the Day: July 22, 2005
Charlie Fawn's debut 45 is a pretty tasty bit of UK power pop; sources who should know report that the self-titled LP from which it comes is quite solid indeed. All of Mr. Fawn's records that we've heard are worth a listen, especially his second single "Hothead Handshake Tremble."

Oh hells yes. And that cover pose is priceless.
My favorite Charlie Fawn song is "Paper Trails". Off the self-titled LP. There's also an unreleased LP of Fawn tunes.

My fave is his version of "Always Something There To Remind Me".
He has a website:

Dressed as a 'clean' Sid Vicious... My favourite tune is 'Death or glory brigade', indeed about the explosion of punk rock.
I've listened to this song quite a bit now and it gets better everytime. Just quality! Top quality powerpop!
