Monday, August 22, 2005Song Of the Day: August 18, 2005Our retro-garage mania continues, and Shammy is delighted. You don't hear so much about the Stepford Husbands, as their brand of garage doesn't have Thee Sound of Fuzz, but we're crazy about the $17 production and we do love that organ-driven sound. Great vocal, too. We also like their "Seems Like Years" 45, in which the basic sound heard here is applied to a heart-rending ballad with odd results.

Little Hits is one of the best music appreciation blogs i've come across in my vast perusal of the www, i dig it, power!
i'm actually compiling all the tracks onto annotated mp3 cds, to give to friends, because this is such a rigorous educational experience, you are an online professor of sound!
sorry to say, though, this is the same track as The Primitons' of the same name
